It checks each reported location against hand-counted byte intervals in three small Go fixtures. It also applies each edit a tool proposes and reparses the fixture to see whether it stays syntactically valid. The package contains the code, fixtures and recorded results behind this comparison in the article "Locating style violations in automated code review for Go", and covers that comparison only.
